About Us 

We are Student Services and are responsible for nurturing wellness, supporting individual needs, helping students in crisis, improving retention, and enabling positive experiences through residential life and extra-curricular activities. Working in partnership across academic schools and professional services, our teams seek to provide a network of support throughout the student journey and aim to optimise student success. 

The Student Services directorate is led by the Assistant Chief Operating Officer, Health Gain & Student Experience. Our department incorporates a number of professional and support teams including Student HUB, Student Conduct, Academic Tutoring, Residential Life, Student Disability and Dyslexia, Student Life, Student Money Advice and Rights Team, Student Engagement, Retention and Success and Student Wellbeing. 

About the Job 

This role will provide project support, stakeholder engagement and student-facing project delivery, and support a variety of Student Services projects, for example activity related to Health Gain, the University Mental Health Charter, prevention of sexual harassment and restorative justice, Residential Life training programmes, as well as other projects continuing the advancement of UEL’s whole university approach to wellbeing.  

The Student Service Project Coordinator will be crucial in supporting UEL to be prepared for increased regulatory duties in relation to sexual violence, bullying, harassment, and hate. The role holder will have a focus on supporting experts within student services deliver impactful training programmes to all UEL students. 

About You 

We are looking for someone with experience delivering projects from creation to implementation and evaluating. You will have delivered projects within budget and on-time. 

Ideally, you will have experience in Higher Education or have knowledge of the issues students face in a Higher Education environment such as low mental health, sexual violence and hate crime.  

You must have experience reaching objectives and goals and be committed to delivering outstanding customer service to all.
