Would you like to be a centre coordinator in our International Cyber Research Centre (ICRC)?
We are seeking to recruit a Centre Coordinator to join the ICRC based in the School of Business and Law (Department of Criminology). This centre is newly formed and focuses upon applied research, informing policy and practice in the context of national and international cyber issues from a multi-disciplinary perspective. The ICRC is based at USS in Stratford.  You will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support to ICRC Directors and research staff. Organising and supervising all the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the Centre. Given the sensitive nature of the research, the post holder will work to the highest levels of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality. The Centre coordinator will be the central point of contact for staff within the Centre.
Additionally, you will have effective communication, relationship building and partnership working skills, the ability to work on your own initiative and to work with others, and to proactively meet deadlines.
The post offers an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and varied academic environment. Successful candidates should have a post graduate degree or equivalent and/or equivalent work experience. The post is located in a shared office environment and the role holder will be expected to work in a proactive, flexible and cooperative manner. You will also be expected to carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job including report and bid writing.
