The Centre for Student Success is the academic, career and employability nucleus of the University of East London. The Placement Officer will be working directly with students to prepare them for their placement year. This includes delivering group and 1-2-1 employability sessions, promoting placement opportunities, assisting with full recruitment cycle, liaising with employers, collaborating with relevant academics and working with the compliance team to ensure Tier 4 students are meeting their visa requirements. 

You will have prior experience of stakeholder management with the ability to deliver a range of impactful and innovative employability initiatives. You will have excellent networking and interpersonal skills, being comfortable developing business opportunities and communicating with a range of audiences including senior managers, academic staff and students. You will be thrive working in a target-driven environment and able to work flexibly to meet the changing demands of a busy service.
