About the School / Service 

IT Services is a centralised resource working collaboratively with the University community to transform UEL's digital world in line with the University’s Vision 2028 strategic plan. Engaging in ground-breaking initiatives delivered within a dynamically developing cloud environment, IT Services work closely with staff, students, partners and other key collaborators to identify technological improvements to our learning and working environments. We implement, develop and provide support for systems and services within the university’s IT Service Portfolio.

About the Job

To provide technical support within the End User Compute team to ensure a high-quality digital workspace experience. This includes supporting and maintaining a Unified Desktop Environment (UDE) across desktops, laptops, and tablets running Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS.

About You

You need to be a passionate and detail-oriented Desktop Developer with a strong background in building and maintaining desktops and applications. You will have a problem-solving mindset, enjoy working collaboratively, and are always looking for ways to optimise performance and user experience. You take ownership of your work and thrive in an agile environment, balancing technical excellence with business needs.
