Our work is rooted in collaboration, creativity and real-world engagement.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">We are seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Hospitality &amp; Events Management to join our expanding team.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality teaching, research and industry engagement, delivering programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">You will:</p><ul><li style="text-align: justify;">Deliver engaging teaching across hospitality, events and related disciplines</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Take on module leadership and (at Senior level) programme leadership responsibilities</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Design and deliver innovative, inclusive learning experiences</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Supervise student research and live projects, including events-based learning</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Contribute to curriculum development and quality enhancement</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Engage with industry partners to enhance student experience and employability</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Contribute to research, scholarship and/or knowledge exchange activity</li></ul><p style="text-align: justify;">At Senior Lecturer level, you will also contribute to programme leadership, strategic development, and key areas such as research, employability or outreach.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>About You</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">You will be an enthusiastic and committed academic or industry professional with expertise in Hospitality, Events Management or a related field.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">You will bring:</p><ul><li style="text-align: justify;">A master&rsquo;s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in a relevant discipline</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Experience of teaching and/or industry practice in hospitality or events</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Experience of developing engaging and inclusive teaching and learning approaches</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Experience supervising student projects or live event activity</li><li style="text-align: justify;">A strong understanding of industry needs and graduate employability</li></ul><p style="text-align: justify;">Skills and qualities:</p><ul><li style="text-align: justify;">Excellent communication and presentation skills</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Ability to deliver engaging teaching and support diverse learners</li><li style="text-align: justify;">Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li style="text-align: justify;">A collaborative approach with the ability to build industry relationships</li><li style="text-align: justify;">A commitment to research, scholarship and/or professional practice</li></ul><p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Need to Thrive</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">You will thrive in this role if you are passionate about student success and industry engagement, with the ability to bring real-world insight into the classroom.
